Here is a pair of mittens that will keep you warm even in the lowest temperatures. It is hand knit in a double strand of the warmest fiber existing: qiviut, the underdown of the muskox. It is said to be 8 times warmer than wool by weight and is extremely light weight.

An attractive cable pattern runs along the back side of the mittens, and seed stitch is on the inside. This pair of mittens is a nice companion to the qiviut hats "Malcolm Island" or "Hernando Island" as they feature the same cable pattern.
