PHILOSOPHY
MountainMasche exclusively offers one-of-a-kind hand knit design. Every single one of our creations is numbered individually.
Like many products in limited edition, our exclusive hand knit fashion is unique and scarce.
MountainMasche uses only the most luxurious and highest quality yarns. We strive to use yarns in their natural colour to limit exposure to the chemical dyeing process thereby maintaining the natural integrity of the yarn.
All our items, however, can be hand knit in the colour of your choice, as well as the material of your preference.
THE DESIGNER
Owner and designer Barbara Schuetz-Vangaalen grew up in Austria and at the age of 14 began to fulfill customers' "hand knit dreams". Her passion for both skiing and fashion quickly led to fulfilling her own dreams of designing and producing high-end hand knit sweaters, cardigans, scarves, mittens, gloves, hats, shawls, capes, ponchos, etc.
In 2005, she moved to British Columbia, Canada, and finally turned her life-long passion of creating one-of-a-kind designs for customers into MountainMasche.
