Here is a pair of mittens that will keep you warm even in the lowest temperatures. It is hand knit in the warmest fiber existing: qiviut, the underdown of the muskox. It is said to be 8 times warmer than wool by weight and is extremely light weight.

An attractive cable pattern runs along the back side of the mittens, and classic knit stitch is on the inside. This pair of mittens is a nice companion to the qiviut hat "Campania Island" as they feature the same cable pattern.

The photos show the qiviut in its natural undyed colour. The mittens are alaso available in dyed colours (please see the last photo).
