This sweater will be sutom knit for Jeff.

The client has provided a sweater of his own with the correct measurements.

It will be knit with a crew neck, cuffs and bottom like the "Mt. Garibaldi" sweater and cables on the front part of the sweater as shown in the private conversation with the client.

Qiviut, the under down of the muskox. It is also called the "cashmere of the North". It is a quite rare material (I am on a waiting list to receive more stock!), hard to come by and therefore more expensive than any other yarn.

Qiviut is said to be 8 times warmer than wool by weight and even softer than cashmere itself. If only photos allowed you tactile experience you would want to wrap yourself in this incredibly soft material! The sweater only weighs 350grams (=less than 1 pound).

The classic knit pattern gives the sweater in submariner style softness without comparison. While knitting, the qiviut seems to "bloom" into soft and squishy stitches. Ribs at both sides give a bit of elasticity and adaptability to most sizes. The sweater is finished with a round neck.

Material:
100% undyed qiviut (muskox under down).
Qiviut is 8 times warmer than wool by weight, feather light and incredibly soft. It wicks moisture away, is breathable and hypo-allergenic. Qiviut does not felt or shrink. It is durable and can be worn for many years to come.
NOTE: On the downside, it does not maintain elasticity and due to its fine structure, it has a tendency to pill. Please, carefully cut pills away with sharp scissors.
