Soft, lightweight and incredibly warm, this infinity scarf / neck warmer / cowl is a one of a kind piece, combining delicate lace stitches and small cables.
Its most outstanding feature is the yarn called qiviut which in indigenous language denominates the underdown of the Muskox. They are rare and elusive animals, hence the limited availability of this yarn and the rather elevated price. It is a silky grey-brown fiber which is said to be eight times warmer than wool by weight and softer and finer and lighter than cashmere. The fiber is almost free of grease or animal oils and therefore non-irritating and not itchy. It can be worn directly against skin.
